ANALYSIS Ltd is a Greek company based in Magnesia. It was founded in 1990 by Leonidas Iakovou, an electrical engineer with many years of experience in industry and shipping. The company’s main activity is the research, design and manufacture of temperature sensors, pressure transmitters, magnetic proximity switches and level sensors. Since 2010, the company has been managed by Aristidis and Anna Iakovou.
The company manufactures products using a certified quality management system set by the Lloyds Registry that is in accordance with relevant ISO standards for the design, manufacture and sale of temperature sensors, magnetic switches and pressure transmitters.
ANALYSIS Ltd. has the flexibility and ability to manufacture any type and form of sensor, even for specialised applications. The products cover applications for the following sectors:
- Industry: Steelworks, Aluminum Industries, Power Plants, Food Industries, Laboratories, Machine Manufacturers, Industrial Equipment Trading Companies, Elevator Manufacturing Companies, etc
- Shipping: Shipping companies, Shipbuilding and Marine equipment supply companies.
Having over 30 years of experience and using technologically advanced equipment, a CNC 5-axis lathe and LASER welding workstation, it has succeeded in producing high quality products, achieving short delivery times.
In addition to manufacturing sensors according to the needs of each customer (customised products), even in small quantities, the following are notable achievements of the company:

A constant path of ANALYSIS Ltd. is the development of new products, and in particular the manufacture of sensors for the oil and gas, defence, and explosives sectors.
The company also aims to grow its export business in EU countries such as Spain and Italy, as well as countries such as India and Russia.
Moving forward with the network
The company became a member of the Association of Industries in Thessaly and in Central Greece (AITCG) at the beginning of 2021. The executives of the Association and the Enterprise Europe Network - Hellas consortium held, at the beginning of May, a first online meeting with the company’s representatives to update them on the activities and services of the Network.
The production activity of the company, the range of products produced and the vision of its owners for its future course confirmed our initial thought that the company had the potential to benefit successfully from the Network’s specialised services.
The company’s objective was to increase its clientele within and outside the European Union. Thus, the executives of the AITCG and the Enterprise Europe Network focused on the networking and outreach services that the Network provides. Immediately, they included the company in the regular updates given to enterprises as members of the Enterprise Europe Network, providing useful information on seminars, international exhibitions and business meeting events, as well as information on the business environment of third countries and financial tools to support a company’s outward-oriented activity.
In May 2021, with the support of Enterprise Europe Network personnel, the company prepared its profile and participated in two online business meeting events (Matchmaking events), with sectoral interest:
- ITmatch - virtual IT/ICT co-operation day 2021 -25 May 2021
- Brokerage Event @Smart Manufacturing Matchmaking 2021 13 & 14 May 2021.
At the same time, in July 2021, the AITCG personnel and the Enterprise Europe Network - Hellas consortium prepared and submitted, in collaboration with the company, a business profile to the network’s partner search base.
ANALYSIS Ltd. held interesting online meetings with companies related to its subject area as part of the above events, and since then has been in discussions with companies from Greece, Taiwan and India.
Circulating the company’s profile on the Enterprise Europe Network’s international database resulted in an expression of interest from a commercial company based in Malta, active in the construction, water, energy and health sectors. This co-operation has continued and now the desire of ANALYSIS Ltd. is to expand its clientele to a new European market.
Extroversion during the pandemic
‘Getting to know and working with AITCG and the Enterprise Europe Network was really useful and effective,’ says Anna Iakovou, Sales Manager of ANALYSIS LTD. ‘Our company has had the experience of participating in business meeting events organised by the Enterprise Europe Network, in 2021. It was a very good opportunity to come into contact with businesses during the difficult time of COVID-19. It was an opportunity for extroversion at a time when business trips and appointments were impossible’.
As for the Enterprise Europe Network platform, she says: ‘It was very organised. Its structure and the guidance from those responsible were such that the required information from each business was targeted. As a direct result and with the appropriate filters, we can have access to companies that interest us easily and without requiring a lot of time’.
The company remains in contact with the AITCG and the Enterprise Europe Network in order to explore and benefit from all the services of the Network when implementing its future plans.
