The 12th Meeting of the Agri-Food Sector Group (SG) of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) will take place in Athens, Greece, from 5 to 7 November 2025.

This high-level meeting constitutes one of the most prominent European gatherings in the agri-food sector ever hosted in Greece. It will bring together leading organisations, enterprises, research institutions, clusters, and cooperatives that drive innovation and competitiveness across the agri-food value chain. The aim is to explore emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities shaping the future of the sector, while strengthening synergies between science, business, and policy.

As the world’s largest support network for SMEs with international ambitions, the Enterprise Europe Network plays a pivotal role in fostering business innovation and growth. Within this framework, the Agri-Food Sector Group connects experts and organisations active in agriculture, food production, processing, and the wider supply chain. Its mission is to promote partnerships, facilitate knowledge exchange, and provide access to European programmes and policies. Through collaboration and technology transfer, the Group actively supports the internationalisation of SMEs and the transition towards sustainable, digital, and resilient agri-food systems across Europe and beyond.

The three-day programme will take place at two emblematic venues:

  • Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Syngrou Estate (Maroussi), 5–6 November
  • Metropolitan Expo, within the framework of the FoodTech and Global Pack 2025 international exhibitions, 7 November+

The agenda combines policy dialogue, knowledge sharing, and networking opportunities, featuring keynote speeches from representatives of the European Commission (DG GROW and EISMEA), as well as panel discussions with European and Greek agri-food stakeholders. Special thematic sessions will focus on Artificial Intelligence and digital innovation in the agri-food sector. Among the distinguished Greek participants are Giorgos Pittas (Attica Beekeeping), Ioannis Kaimakamis (Livestock Strategy Consultant), Mary Triantafyllopoulou (Wines of Greece), and Christos Giannakakis (COGREXPO – Venus Growers).

The final day will take place within the FoodTech and Global Pack 2025 exhibitions at the Metropolitan Expo, dedicated to connecting research and entrepreneurship. Under the auspices of EKT and the Enterprise Europe Network, B2B meetings will be organised for enterprises, organizations and clusters, fostering cross-border partnerships and innovation exchange.

More than 60 representatives of EEN member organisations from across Europe and beyond are expected to participate, reinforcing transnational cooperation, showcasing Greek excellence, and highlighting the country’s role as a dynamic hub for agri-food innovation and collaboration in Europe.
